Commercial Steel Wheels:See “Disc Wheel”
Demountable Rims:rims with valve locators, which are used with a cast spoke wheel to provide the method of attaching tires to the vehicle.
Disc Wheel: A permanent assembly of a disc and a rim shell.
Hub-Piloted Wheel: Wheels that are designed to center on the hub at the bore of the wheel. These wheels have straight-bored holes, since they only provide clearance for the stud. Hub-piloted wheels are used with two-piece flange nuts.
Intermodal Rims: See “Demountable Rims”
Skid Steer Wheels: Wheels that are designed for skid steer equipment to provide a method for attaching tires to the vehicle.
Steel Truck Wheels: See “Disc Wheel”
Super Single Wheels: A wide base disc wheel that is intended to replace a traditional dual-wheel assembly.
Unimount Wheels: See “Hub-Piloted Wheel”
